Nice and chic retrospective of YSL's career, Mr. Slimane, you gave us some gypsie, some safari and even a bit of the russian collection. NOW, can you please show us the Spring-Summer 2013, "Saint Laurent Paris" collection, SVP?

You cannot start where you stopped years ago at dior homme. Thats not how fashion works! 2000-n-late.... I'm quite dissapointed... No statement at all...just a retrospective....

I can't believe this.
The most anticipated collection of the season!

what do you mean? its real YSL , practical, wearable, ready to wear for a contemporary person, not some bugged out expensive fantasy you cant wear nowhere.
Tammy Young02 Oct 2012 - 02:51:25
Very nice, but I feel like this collection should have been saved for F/W.
Fashion Addict02 Oct 2012 - 03:01:44
^^ You find a Cruella de Vil fur cape to be "practical and wearable?" Also boho-chic (talk about an oxymoron) isn't for a contemporary, modern woman. It's for Rachel Zoe and the other LA girls trying to be cool.

LOVE THIS COLLECTION. Every songle piece is magnificent! The YSL archive is present in this collection with a twist of bohemian modernity

What a disappointment. I have been a loyal YSL customer for years and I can't see myself wearing any of these looks. It seems they are targeting a twenty something client. How many 20 year olds do you know that can afford the RTW? They should grovel on their knees and beg Stefano Pilati to come back.
Andrea Carolina02 Oct 2012 - 04:46:30
This is a beautiful style that any kind of woman can wear.
grandgalet02 Oct 2012 - 08:42:34
I was expecting a new POV from HS. And, sorry, he didn't delivered, the show was a "retrospective" of Yves famous looks (and if I want a retrospective, I can by a book).... So, now, I can add the unispiring show, to the list: dubious name change decision, moving the design team to L.A (really!?) and changing the stores to look like Dior Homme circa 2005.... It just not adding up!

Going on a limb here, but people, check out Tom Ford SS13 collection....now imagine that as the YSL SS13 show....superbly hot!

I have been also a YSL Fan,but now I should go back to JPG.What is that.Gypsi or Cowboy chic.Whatever is,nobody can reach Stefano and his work.We see now in the boutiques worldwide a F/W Collection by Stefano, with a purity of Design and Work and than an horrible Summer Collection,or is it a Winter one.Adieu YSL.Better is for Stefano that he concentrate himself of his own Job,before beeing expoited by this superficial and horrible Fashion World.
