It was a Renaissance of casualwear, in all its plain-to-peacock glory. Modeled after the quirky personal style of filmmaker John Waters, James Long’s latest collection was an extravaganza of tucked-in shirts, cinched belts, and all the quilted and padded coats a man could dream of. From bombers to plaid macs, from shiny puffa jackets to degraded fuzzy knits, Long offered a range of covetable outdoor-ready separates, pared with light patterned trousers gathered at the ankles for a laid-back, slouchy silhouette.
