It is very evident that Raf Simons is incapable of moving the house of Dior forward. These looks are stagnant, unflattering and borderline ugly. The sad thing is, the atelier of Dior is capable of so much more that these lazy designs.

mmmhmm this collection seems very Armani Styled! (stealed or inspired?) but the Italian Style is above all! http://munascoolture.blogspot.it/

You know minimalism, is not the same as boring. This is DIOR. Galliano were never true to the signature of Christian Dior, he only expressed himself. He can do that other places, but not with Dior. I love this collection. Raf is really recreating the lost dior-woman. A style that was lost because of john galliano.

I disagree, Raf is designing the same boring line over and over again. There is no French, romantic element to his design, Christian Lacroix would have been the perfect replacement. Most importantly, this is not a couture line, this is RTW.

I like better than last season, if somebody thinks Galliano does not represent Dior, completely wrong, really should look more closely, Galiano always take the same lines of Dior and took it to another level higher in the couture, Simons also takes Dior but on simplicity.

Dior Haute Couture was a symbol of change. With Raf Simmons running the house a drop in creativity has made itself apparent. In the collections Raf Simmons has done I have seen a recreation of the New Look in both of them. Also the he creates the same shape as many other designers this season. So his "minimalism" is butchering the design aesthetic Dior Haute Couture has had for years. Go back to H&M Raf.
