LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION AT FENTY

Rihanna's Puma line took on a decidedly collegiate feel (staged in the National Library), albeit one with plenty of flesh on show and enough attitude to earn a detention.

LOST IN CYBER SPACE: ESTEBAN CORTAZAR

The designers own Instagram feed provided inspiration for an eclectic and colourful collection that spanned childhood memories and a cross-cultural world.

WE HAVE CHANEL LIFT OFF!

A huge rocket waiting to take off set the scene for Karl Lagerfeld's fall/winter 2017 Chanel show. Lunar landings of a fashion kind, it was a signature sort of collection that kept close to a monochrome, navy and red palette with sequin constellations on eveningwear and glitter boots teamed with everything.

MONCLER GAMME ROUGE GOES TO COLLEGE

Summer is over, it's time to get back to school! Today, Giambattista Valli designed a collection which was tailormade for Upper East Side college girls. The outerwear and tops were mostly inspired by varsity jackets and letterman shirts, paired with long shorts or girly, flower printed skirts.

WARDROBE PROBLEMS SOLVING AT ELLERY

What's the perfect women's wardrobe? Kym Ellery has got the answer. The Australian designer proposed just the right amount of sophisticated staple pieces with an edge, suitable for both day and night. This look in particular – the fringed kimono shaped top paired with tapered patent leather pants and the matching ankle boots was to die for.

MIU MIU MOI COLORFUL

Say whaaat? We never imagined Miuccia Prada would be such as huge old school hip hop fan, and frankly, we adore her for that. Miu Miu's collection today was all about candy colored, fluffy, oversized coats and retro flavored looks that made our hearts beat faster.

SANS BORDERS AT LOUIS VUITTON

An epic location for an epic show, Nicolas Ghesquiere celebrated global culture and the house's well-travelled heritage at the Musee du Louvre. A softer collection that focused more on daywear looks than last season's slinky and sinuous styles, there were slip dresses that collaged together texture and boudoir appeal; tight and neat belted jackets; trailing chains worn at wrists and cape-backed dresses.

THE POWER OF PINK CONTINUES AT PAUL & JOE

Fuchsia is Paris' favourite shade of pink - clashed with orange and red and ditzy print at Paul & Joe - for corduroy jumpsuits and lip print floaty dresses, pearl and bow decorative details and a slouchy cardigan to be found too.
