Fausto Puglisi Ready To Wear Fall Winter 2015 Milan

The Fausto Puglisi collection was a call to arms against good taste. The bombastic designer is all about no-holds-barred creations that are built to get noticed, cause a stir and start people talking.

Oh, and Puglisi is all about the party.

Not only did this show have a fantastic club mix soundtrack, each outfit was designed with after dark wearability in mind. And we are not just talking about his use of day glow bright colors.

There were the sliced and diced dresses that left sections of the torso exposed, long gowns with double slits to let legs catch some night air and short asymmetrically layered pleated gladiator skirts. Animal prints and vibrant plaids had showdowns across outfits. Denim looks came encrusted with embellishments. And quite a lot of big and bold accessories (necklaces, belts, earrings), that looked almost like rock and roll Christmas ornaments, pulled attention away from the already loud and proud looks.

Puglisi’s style is an acquired taste. Gaudy but good. These are the kind of gals you want to tag along with. They are sure to be the life of the party.
