Salvatore Ferragamo Menswear Spring Summer 2014 Milan

Pythagoras would have been happy. A play on geometric shapes, tangents, angles and numbers, Salvatore Ferragamo's men's wear collection was consistent in keeping up a minimalistic sporty, clean image.

Zips pointing north east and north west adorned wind breakers while, exaggerated asymmetric, angled lapels and concealed buttons on jackets and overcoats fused casual wear with a modernist edge.

Numbers emblazoned on T-shirts created a fine border for clean silhouettes.

Vibrant red, cinnamon and cactus green dominated the color scheme though more somber tones, like beige and dark blue made an appearance.

Taut materials like rigid cotton, technical finished wools, mohair and kangaroo leather added a wild touch.

Open toed hi-tops spiced up the array of accessories comprised mostly of large bags and traveling backpacks

Shorts and vests replaced the traditional pantsuit forcing me to ask myself how functional this collection really is.
