Anteprima’s manifesto “feel the best” is a lovely Spring/Summer call. Izumi Ogino, the designer, took most of a woman’s wardrobe staples and updated them according to her definition of contemporary everyday elegance. Slightly polished, this dressing is mainly composed of A-shape skirts, billowy trousers, flare leg bermudas and knitted pieces. The color palette, made of powdery shades, midnight blue and black is a Spring/Summer classic that makes every separate piece very versatile. Models were sporting thick black painted eyebrows and had their hair loose and straighten which added a bit of drama to the looks.
There was nothing groundbreaking in this collection but pieces that always fit into any wardrobe have been revamped. A sheer shirt combined with a silk pair of trousers is a winning weekday outfit and a flared bermuda with a knitted top flatters any silhouette. This collection is definitely for every woman and for any occasion, but don’t expect that “special something”- it is for each and every woman to add her personal touch and to wear the pieces her own way.
This Anteprima Spring/Summer 2013 collection is to be worn and interpreted individually to fully express its potential.
