BCBG Max Azria Ready To Wear Spring Summer 2015 New York

There's always something quite sexy about a BCBG Max Azria show, shoppable Instagram looks or not, and Spring 2015 was no different.  From deep v-necks to back cut outs -- one in particular on a light blue fog of a dress, that revealed the entire back of one model -- there was just the right bit of skin on display. And of course it wasn't Rihanna-at-the-CFDA's-sexy, but instead a soft, sensual take done with tapestry inspired abstract floral prints to color mostly loose silhouettes.

There was a bit of a play: the loose, rippling scarf print dresses against the controlled, stiff quilted belt. The play was there again with a quilted vest of cream and silk A-line of the same. The palette stayed mostly soft and muted save pieces like a bright coral suede minaudière -- fashion speak for small bag -- that added a punch of color. It, in all, was an admirable, mostly ethereal collection, standout moments fluttering by as scarf dresses embodying the carefree.
