Florentine luxury brand EMILIO PUCCI has announced Christelle Kocher of KOCHÉ as a guest designer for the house’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The collaboration, which includes both ready-to-wear and accessories, will be revealed on Thursday, February 20th, 2020 during Milan Fashion Week.
“Pucci’s creative strategy is evolving: the Maison has decided to open its fabulous archives to “creative voices”, entrusting them to deliver innovative interpretations of Pucci’s heritage prints, lifestyle and collections. Pucci’s first collaboration will be with Christelle Kocher, a designer already spotted by LVMH on the occasion of the LVMH Prize, and recognized for her unique blend of couture and street. We love her energy and are confident that her take on Pucci will be incredibly interesting and beautiful,” explained the brand in a statement.
Emilio Pucci’s strong print heritage and rich DNA epitomises a colourful lifestyle that expresses freedom, boldness and luxurious sophistication. In the statement, the Italian brand expressed its delight to inspire, by opening its archives, a strong talent such as Christelle Kocher of KOCHÉ whose Couture know-how, streetwear attitude and youth culture energy will offer a unique and joyful interpretation to the F/W 2020 collection.
“I am very proud to collaborate with Pucci. This house has a magnificent heritage. I have always been impressed by its elegant silhouettes, striking prints and colours. It is such a pleasure to deep dive into the brilliant history and universe of Emilio Pucci,” added Christelle Kocher.
The collection will be available in September 2020 in all the Emilio Pucci boutiques worldwide, online store and in selected wholesalers, as well as KOCHÉ online store.
