ETRO Partners With Italian-Based Charity Casa Arcobaleno

Just in time for Pride Week, ETRO has created a limited-edition Pride inspired version of its best selling Pegaso bag.

The limited-edition PEGASO PRIDE BAG comes in two sizes: regular, featuring the signature Paisley print and the fully coloured mini variant. Both are characterized by a maxi resin buckle that reproduces the silhouette of the Pegasus, ETRO's symbol since 1968.

The brand will be donating 20% of proceeds from the Pegaso Pride bag to Casa Arcobaleno to support the organization's work, which involves protecting vulnerable youth who have been ultimately rejected by their families due to their sexual orientation.

Opened in July 2019, Casa Arcobaleno is a Milan-based apartment dedicated to the reception of children discriminated because of their sexual orientation or for the transition path started by their families of origin. A protected environment for all those who after coming out find themselves without a home and without a family, the apartment, owned by Open Space Services and managed by the cooperative itself in collaboration with the City of Milan, can accommodate up to three people for a variable stay time. During this time, children have a multidisciplinary team available to them with educational, psychological and legal support if necessary. The people welcomed are followed in a path of orientation to work and home that aims to achieve autonomy through a personalized project.

A celebration of diversity and inclusivity, the PEGASO PRIDE BAG is now available for purchase exclusively on etro.com.
