It seems like a lot of the designers on the Paris calendar toned down their shows a little this season. Leave it to Henrik Vibskov to do the complete opposite.
Arriving at Place Baudoyer, where the Spring Summer 2015 show was held, the show visitors were surprised to discover the collection was going to be presented outdoors.
As the show started, The Norwegian National Ballet started their performance by slamming in the water, followed by an excellent dance choreographed by Alexander Ekman.
Meanwhile, models wearing the designer’s latest collection were coming down the runway. If you have a look at the care and detail that has gone into each and every look, it is almost impossible to imagine that Vibskov can pull it off in one season.
With incredible prints (which he has been praised for his entire career), storytelling 3D sweaters, knitted patterns and admirable cutouts made Vibskov one of the most unique designers on the schedule again.
In past collections, Vibskov made a lot of effort in creating interesting shoes, it was surprising to see that this season the daring looks were toned down with only slippers and socks on the models’ feet.
In the finale, the dancers were walking alongside the models and the attendees did everything to get a glimpse of the designer and congratulate him on his latest collection.
