Pitti Launches E-Pitti Connects

In full compliance with all the decrees published to date, Pitti Uomo has announced the immediate implementing of all measures to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the people that work at Pitti Immagine, by ensuring use of all the tools and networks available for staff to work safely from home. 

Pitti Uomo has reassured its intentions to open next June’s fairs on time. “We are aware that it will not be a regular-season like any other, it will be an exceptional season, against fear and emergency. But not to remove them, to face them and realistically lay the foundations for the fastest possible restart,” the platform said in a statement.

“We are, in fact, working on a double track, physical and digital, with innovative and complementary services, which strengthen the effectiveness of the relationships between companies and buyers. The physical fair, rich in content and with further innovations, will be joined by the e-PITTI Connect digital platform which, beyond the emergency, constitutes a heritage that we have been developing for some time. The platform will be exclusively launched in June, offering new features, additional content and ways of interacting even remotely,” it continued.

Pitti Uomo also ensured it will continue to update and to take all the appropriate measures with seriousness and courage. “New scenarios will open, [that will] not always [be] predictable, we will work more and better, drawing on our and your creative abilities. We are certainly not, and we will not be alone, because in all these years, even before a successful commercial event, we have built a real community together with all of you.

“As citizens, parents, children and members of larger communities, we send a grateful, affectionate and supportive thought to the thousands of doctors, nurses and volunteers who are committed to ensuring the best possible assistance to us all, without stopping. If there are heroes right now, they are them,” the statement concluded.
