Sibling has been enjoying quite a bit of commercial success lately. After a much publicized feature with Mariah Carey in Wonderland magazine, and publicly criticizing Zara for allegedly ripping off its designs, the savvy trio behind the fashion house was showcasing its Spring Summer 2015 men's collection on the last day of LC:M.
This season, it seems like the brand took on darker inspirations and colors without rejecting its quirkier side. Navy blue and black opened the show, featured on denim and ripped knitwear.
The looks are a prehistoric take on edgier designs, if the bone necklaces are any indication, as fringes meet combat boots. A print heavy collection as it is, the designers at Sibling choose to stick with what they know and do best and deliver it in colorful fashion.
Layering is on display with men's skirts worn over trousers and jackets over crew neck sweaters.
The designers (namely Joe Bates, Cozette McCreery and Sid Bryan) at Sibling are having fun and that particular aspect of their approach of fashion somehow exudes from the clothes they are offering.
The prints, the shapes and the colors are a playful and edgier alternative to the tailoring and vibe London is known for internationally.
