Theory is going through a period of change. With Olivier Theyskens on the outs -- according to CEO Andrew Rosen, Theyskens was ready for something new --a former VP of design Lisa Kulson back in, his company has named a new Theory+ line, and is headed for a slightly new ethos as seen in the Spring presentation, with models staged amongst furniture pushing a lifestyle sort of feel for the brand.
Looks were mostly monochromatic for Kulson's first collection back at the brand with long, shapeless silhouettes. Waists were dropped, jumpsuits came slouchy in everything from navy, ivory and black to a Bordeaux red and "fatigue" green. Tunic tops and boat necks kept up the easy, relaxed vibes of the offering.
