Donatella Versace turns a page in the history of the Versus-Versace line after the departure of Anthony Vaccarello, who returns to Paris to take the helm at Saint Laurent. The starting point for the collection? Metallic mesh was a key theme, seen in the form of patches adorning jackets, bombers or pull-overs, with a space age military vibe that transformed them into strong eveningwear staples similar to the little dresses in a variety of mixed mediums and textures that also featured in the collection.
There was also a healthy dose of black and military green alongside bright orange and eye-catching printed inserts which gave the collection a distinctly modern, urban edge befitting of the new streetwear 3.0.
