Yigal Azrouël presented a bit of minimalism with his women's ready to wear Fall Winter 2012 collection letting everything loose holding nothing back and showing dark colors, splashed with fur, outlined in sheer materials.
From one look to another, from demure with midcalf skirts to sheer dresses, to oversized knitwear, maxi coats and hooded jackets combined with accessories such as large Russian-style Ushankas (hats). This worked perfectly over his edgy leather pieces and minimal cuts in the designs. One silhouette that stood out amongst the rest was the loose fit while still giving a tailored structure to each look. There was definitely nothing frilly or flouncy here. Models wore aviator glasses, silver chokers and leather gloves which contributed to setting a cool tone for Fall, while baby-blue hues and outerwear worn over the models’ shoulders were feminine and printed with snakeskin. He embraced the use of soft, supple leather and a neutral color palette with pops of emerald green, bursts of maroon, ivory and shades of purple and burgundy.
